Return to the magical winter kingdom of Glassenvale, in an updated production of The Actors’ Gang hit holiday enchantment CHILDREN OF THE WINTER KINGDOM. Orphan twins Holly and Spruce escape from the circus, only to get lost in an enchanted world where they meet a series of extraordinary characters: a King and his Dragon, a Wild Girl, a Crow, a Sorceress, and an Ice Spider! Returning audiences will find all their favorite characters along with newly added songs. Make a trip to Glassenvale your new family tradition! Filled with music, puppetry, and theatrical wonder, this kaleidoscopic journey will charm you with the spirit of friendship, family, and home.

THE STATE FAMILY HOLIDAY PARTY

Featuring the 2026 Fall Saturday Classes for Kids and the CCUSD Afterschool Program participants

Head down to The Ivy Substation for the return of The Actors’ Gang Education Department kids’ holiday show. The State Family Holiday Party features two casts of 22 students, pop music, singing, and dancing alongside our teaching artists.

The State family has been divided into four households, Happy, Sad, Afraid, Angry, and….Confused? Wait a minute, there’s only supposed to be four households. Confused must choose which State to be in. With some help from a few messengers, the Confused State household invites everyone to a holiday party. By hand delivering invitations, and creating a riddle for everyone to solve, they all come to the party and work together to help Confused feel more included.

DATES:
Saturday, November 14th at 12:30pm (Saturday Classes for Kids culmination)
Sunday, November 15th at 12:30pm (CCUSD After School Program culmination)

Every Friday at 9 pm, come see something completely new at The Actors' Gang! Each week, we offer a different performance along a rotating schedule.

All shows are Pay What You Can at the door, or you can reserve your ticket in advance for $15 each!

SCHEDULE:
1st Fridays: Stay Tuned for Announcements of Upcoming Programming!
2nd Fridays: "Put You On Blast!" (NEXT PERFORMANCE: Oct. 9th)
3rd Fridays: "The Actors' Gang Screening" or "Playground Shakespeare" (NEXT PERFORMANCE: Oct. 23rd)
4th Fridays: "Commedia Palooza" (NEXT PERFORMANCE: Oct. 30th)

EXCEPTIONS TO THE SCHEDULE:
- Oct. 9th and 16th will both be performances of "Put You on Blast!" The schedule continues as normal with a screening or "Playground Shakespeare" on Oct. 23rd.
